Alice and Friends in a Tiny Book

Was inspired by Kate Crane to make some gelli prints and a tiny 3" book. I love anything "Alice" and finally was able to get some newly released stamps from Miss Ink Stamps and had a blast playing with all kinds of mixed media for this tiny book of Alice!
Closed Book
Open Book

I often wonder if anyone at all looks at this blog. I have another on for my cardmaking and coloring that a lot of people visit, but I don't thing anyone can ever see this since Facebook has deemed this site "not following community standards", whatever that means. So, if you're looking. Thank you. I really hope I'm not blogging for absolutely no one, LOL!

Wonder Dream Disk Journal

Continuing with the disk art journal made with tags I finally got to color this one. I think this might just be a favorite one in this journal! Still using images from Sandra Caldwell, BabyCakesDND. I used #2204 Wonder Dream image and colored with Copics. Then I cut it with the tag die. I didn't want to take anything away from the image by adding a sentiment, so I just placed it opposite an introductory page.
Thanks for the visit!

A Kittywampus Mushroom House

The second bonus for week six of Life Book comes to us from Violette Clark, Magical Mystery Tour.
I did an acrylic background with blues, lime, and purple. Added some clouds. Made myself a mushroom house to live in that was all  kittywampus with a nod to Alice. I don't like dragonflies, so a butterfly graces my mansion. I added some glossy accents to make the glasses reflect like my glasses do in photos. I loved doing this page.

Alice in Wonderland Wisdom

Wise words. That's this week's prompt for Journal 52, week 47. Alice in Wonderland has always been a favorite of mine and there is a lot of wisdom to be found. I know that life has a way of knocking us down and the people that win are those who keep moving forward.
I did a background of gesso and inks before changing over to collage. Alice is colored in Spectrum Noir colored pencils. I got a free download today from Altered Upcycling with tons of great Alice pictures to color or cut; perfect timing! I added some Aquarellable Stabilo pencil, white Signo gel pen, and Pitt pens for highlights and shadows.
