Continuing with the disk art journal made with tags I finally got to color this one. I think this might just be a favorite one in this journal! Still using images from Sandra Caldwell, BabyCakesDND. I used #2204 Wonder Dream image and colored with Copics. Then I cut it with the tag die. I didn't want to take anything away from the image by adding a sentiment, so I just placed it opposite an introductory page.
Thanks for the visit!

Coffee and Pinocchio - Disk and Tag Journal
Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE my morning coffee, but it does take some time to kick in, LOL! This fun image, #294 Coffee and Donuts, by Sandra Caldwell of BabyCakesDND reminds me of the good old days when I could actually eat donuts for breakfast! Sigh.
The sentiment is from C.C. Designs. The background of the tag was done with a stencil and Distress Oxides. The image was colored with Copic markers. A strip of gold paper and some Nuvo drops finished up this tag.
Thanks for visiting! I really appreciate any comments you find the time to leave for me.

Upset Amy
I could hardly wait to color this one up, #2700 Upset Amy, by Sandra Caldwell of BabyCakesDND! Don't you just feel like this sometimes?
The tag was colored with Distress Oxides then sprayed with a bit of sparkle. I added some BoBunny Glitter Paste through a stencil. Another chipboard quote and a few Nuvo drops finished off this page.

Follow Your Heart Pages 2-4
Sandra Caldwell, BabyCakesDND, asked us to join her in an art journal journey using her images on ATC's on the pages. I have had so much fun making a new art journal. All info on this journal is in the first post HERE!
I've done three more pages since then.
First, background from Stampendous. Coloring with Copics and PrismaColor colored pencils.
Second, used the word "Coffee" from an Echo Park paper band.
Third, got a bit crazy and colored with Ek tools metallic markers! That fun sunshine is from Whimsy, Up in the Clouds.
Continuing to using the chipboard words, Distress Oxides, and stencils for continuity of the pages.
Thanks for the visit. I love reading comments :)

Follow Your Heart Journal
Sandra Caldwell, BabyCakesDND, asked us to join her in an art journal journey using her images on ATC's on the pages. I recently got some new tag dies from Stamplorations and have been itching to turn them into a journal using the disk style of closure. So, I was ready to jump in!
First, is the cover using Gina K paper, Technique Tuesday's Bird Friends, a gel pen and some PrismaColor colored pencils.
For one of the inside pages, I cut the tag from a heavy cardstock and then used Distress Oxides to blend a background. I used a Tim Holtz Stamper Anonymous stencil with some Nuvo glimmer paste that I had mixed with some liquid Distress Ink. The image is For You Thanks #15, one of my favorites! I colored it with Copics and added a tiny ladybug brad for fun. The "bow" was created using Altenew's Bells and Bows. Chipboard words are from Tim Holtz. And, the purple thread is some of my handspun yarn waiting to be plied!
I will be adding more to this journal as I find journaling very freeing compared to cardmaking, so very enjoyable!
